Mise-en-scene

i will use the same images i used before on gone in sixty seconds.

this scene you have an image of all the characters involved in the conversation.

the setting of the scene, within the garage just allows you to understand that there are cars involved in the story line. as well as this there is only natural lighting used in this image, coming from behind the characters sat down, this allows you to see the hole of the garage and the characters within.

This second image is a good example of the use of light. the fact that the only light that is in the image is coming from the cars that are being stolen. this brings attention to those cars as well as this the other cars are in complete darkness therefore there is nothing to distrct you from the central cars which are the focus of this image.

Also the red car stands out as it is the only car that has any bright colour in this scene, your attention is therefore drawn to this central car.

These are the two main characters, they show the sexual tention between each other very well as well as this they show the air of untouchableness (if thats even a word) about them as they are doing something they should not be but are still calm.
Costume- they are both in black leather as they are tilling the car and its night therefore they will not be seen as easy, however it is also shown to have a casuaal look to it therefore it is not made obvious that they are wearing black for a purpose.

Music Video

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oRNeI2oLBXw

incase the link doesnt work.
this is the video for linkin paprk featuring jay-z numb/encore

the start of this video is a close up of the venue they are playing which pans out to see the sign, it then cuts to a extreme close up of the techno keyboard. this is a srate cut as there are no affects added it then has another strate cut to the singer. it then cuts to a view of the audience, which then changes back to the singer however instead of it being a mid-shot it is a long shot of the hole stage.
most of the shots in this video are of the band playing and the singers on stage.
however there is a good high angled shot looking down at the audience which shows the size of the venue they are playing in.
there is also the strate cuts to the blake and white scenes which show the events before the live show. the change in colour allows you to see the change in time.
there is also a lot of ooming out used in the video to show a broader picture.
it is mainly mid shots, long shots and close ups however there is also the POV shot from the audience and the high angled shot to get different views of the performance.
